1. Which route to use

• Someone copied your creative work: Section 2 (DMCA notice).
• Your content was removed and you think it was a mistake: Section 3 (counter-notice).
• An intimate image of you, real or AI-generated, was posted without consent: Section 5. We act within 48 hours.
• Your face, likeness or voice was used without permission, including a deepfake or digital replica: Section 6.
• Anything else unlawful, or you are in the EU: Section 7.

Send every report to legal@aiartists.media. Reports sent elsewhere may be delayed.

2. Copyright infringement (DMCA)

We respond to notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512. Your notice must include:

• your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them;
• identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list);
• identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough information for us to find it, ideally its URL;
• your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
• a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether a use is infringing, for example because it may be fair use, consider taking legal advice first.

3. Counter-notices

If we removed your content after a DMCA notice and you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to legal@aiartists.media that includes:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
• your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district where your address is (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which AIAM may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We will send your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the activity, we will restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.

4. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, and we may remove a profile after a single serious or clear-cut infringement.

5. Intimate images shared without consent

Intimate imagery of a real person published without their consent is never allowed on the Service, whether it is authentic or created or altered with AI. Under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act, if you (or someone authorized to act for you) send a valid request, we will remove the imagery within 48 hours and make reasonable efforts to find and remove any known identical copies on the Service. Your request should include:

• your physical or electronic signature (or that of the person acting for you);
• identification of the image or video and enough information for us to find it, such as its URL;
• a brief statement that you believe in good faith it was published without your consent, with any information that helps us assess it; and
• how we can contact you.

Put “Intimate image removal” in the subject line so it is prioritized. We do not require you to send us a copy of the image.

6. Unauthorized use of your likeness or voice

Every artist on the Service confirms that any real person in their work was used with clearance, and our Terms prohibit deceptive synthetic depictions of real people. If your face, likeness, voice or other identifying characteristics appear without your permission, including in a deepfake, digital replica or voice clone, email legal@aiartists.media with:

• your name, or the person you are authorized to act for and your authority to do so;
• the content and where it appears on the Service;
• why it is unauthorized; and
• how we can contact you.

We take the content down while we review it where the use appears unauthorized, ask the artist for their clearance, and remove the content if it cannot be shown.

7. Other illegal content (including EU DSA notices)

You can report any other content you believe is illegal. If you are in the European Union, this is our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act. A notice should include:

• a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content illegal;
• its exact location, such as the URL;
• your name and email address, except where the report concerns child sexual abuse material, which you may report anonymously; and
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations are accurate and complete.

8. Child safety

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. We remove it immediately, preserve it as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children under 18 U.S.C. §2258A. You can also report it directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline or to law enforcement.

9. What happens after you report

• We confirm we have received your report, and review it promptly.
• Decisions are made by people, not automated tools, in a timely, diligent and objective way.
• We tell you what we decided and how you can seek redress. If we remove or restrict someone’s content or account, we tell them what we did and why, unless the law prevents it or it would put someone at risk.
• Either side can ask us to reconsider a decision within six months by replying to our decision email. A person reviews it and tells you the outcome. This does not affect any right to go to court or, in the EU, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
• We may suspend people who repeatedly send manifestly unfounded reports.
