AI Artists' Media was founded by Sean Dinwoodie, a veteran producer and director with more than 30 years in film and television production, across features, television, live broadcast, sports and live events. He co-runs the production company Everlasting Entertainment. His credits include the theatrically released feature I'm in Love with a Church Girl, starring Ja Rule, Adrienne Bailon, Stephen Baldwin and Michael Madsen. High Top Releasing opened it in 457 theaters across North America before it played hundreds more around the world.

The Roster isn't exclusive, so you lose nothing by being on it.

No. For artists, AIAM is management and representation. It manages and represents artists, runs a curated commission board called the Studio Desk, and produces work for brands and studios through AI Artists' Media Studios. It is not a talent agency.

AI is the tool; the artist is the author. We represent people who direct, shape and finish their work. We don't represent prompts, and we never present delivered work as unattended generation.

The Founding Roster is for artist management in four roles: AI Director, AI Video Producer, AI Video Creator and AI Filmmaker. Three specialist lanes stay open for freelance work on AIAM productions: Virtual Human Showrunner, AI Music Visualist and Product / Fashion. There's also an "Other" option. The bar is finished work with visible intent. That means consistency from shot to shot, deliberate framing and light, an edit that serves the story, and evidence of your own hand.

No. The work decides. Many of the strongest AI filmmakers came from design, editing, VFX, animation or music. Show us finished work and how you made it.

Go to /apply. It's a four-step form, covering about you, your craft, your portfolio, and provenance & submit, and it takes about 10 minutes. Applying creates a free account so you can check your status at /artist.

Put your strongest piece first. We'd rather see three great pieces than ten good ones.

Whatever serves the work: Kling, Runway, Veo, Sora, Seedance, Higgsfield, Luma, ComfyUI, alongside your editing, compositing and sound tools. We're tool-agnostic. Tell us what you use on the application.

This isn't paperwork for its own sake. The provenance packet is the receipt for "Artist Made AI".

Only with clearance. A real person's likeness needs their permission. If a piece uses music you don't have a licence for, say so in your provenance notes, because clients will ask.

Round 1 of the Founding Roster closes November 1, 2026. Applications stay open after that, and later applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

We review your application and portfolio ourselves. You'll hear from us within 10 business days, and we email you at each step. Shortlisted artists get a call with Sean. Approved artists join the Roster and get a public profile they control: headline, bio, reel, portfolio, and a publish switch.

Round 1 is deliberately small, so a "not this round" is about fit right now, not a verdict on your talent. When you have significant new work, write to us through the contact page with a link, and we'll take another look.

No, and nothing else does either. Applying is free, and a Roster listing is free. There is no membership, retainer, subscription or listing fee at any tier. AIAM is paid by commission on work it books, and nothing else. It never requires an artist to buy a product, course, workshop or photo package in order to be listed, represented, pitched or matched.

No. Signed status is at AIAM's discretion and can't be bought. The tier question on the application records what you're looking for. Every approved applicant starts on the free Roster, and signing is a separate decision with a separate agreement.

The Roster isn't exclusive, and commission applies only to engagements AIAM books. Signed representation is exclusive only within your lane. Clients you already work with are listed in the agreement and stay commission-free, and you're free to work outside your lane.

Every engagement gets a written deal memo before work begins. It sets out the scope, the fee, the payment schedule, and the licence terms. Commission is only due on money you actually receive. Production expenses are never commissioned and never marked up, and AIAM never charges advance fees.

On an AIAM studio production, where AIAM itself makes the work for a client, your fee is right on the Assignment and you accept it in one click. You're paid within 30 days of finishing your work, whether or not the client has paid yet. AIAM carries that risk, not you, and takes no commission from your fee.

It depends on who the client hired, and either way the terms are written down before you start.

Then you get paid for it. When a client orders extra work, like a new direction, an extra cut-down or changes beyond the included rounds, AIAM quotes it to them first. If it needs more from you, you're offered a Fee Amendment with the added work and the added fee, right on your Assignment. It's your call, and declining never counts against you. Accept it and the added fee is paid within 30 days of finishing that work, whether or not the client has paid yet. Nothing gets added to your plate for free.

When AIAM owns a studio production (because the client licensed it rather than buying it outright), every later sale of it pays you. Renewals, extensions, a later buyout by the client, and licences to anyone else all count. Half the net profit goes to the artists on the project, split equally whatever your role or fee, and it's paid quarterly with a statement you can audit. Only taxes, refunds and direct third-party costs come off first. AIAM's overhead and margin never do.

Not without your separate written consent, given specifically, for stated uses and a stated period. It's never implied by applying, by being listed, or by working on a production. The same applies to using your work or your models as training data.
