FOUNDING ROSTER · ROUND 1
Open call for AI directors and filmmakers
We're building a small roster of AI filmmakers whose work could hold its own on a theater screen. We represent the artist, not the prompt. Round 1 closes November 1, 2026.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
AI Director
narrative shorts, trailers, spots and branded films, where story, performance and shot design carry the work.
AI Video Producer
producers who run AI productions end to end: the team, the schedule, the budget and the delivery.
AI Video Creator
social, branded and campaign video made to a brand's standard and built for the feed.
AI Filmmaker
writer-directors and solo filmmakers who take a film from idea to final cut: shorts, series and longer work.
Also open for freelance work on AIAM productions: Virtual Human Showrunner, AI Music Visualist and Product / Fashion. Doesn't fit any of these but it's undeniable? Apply under Other.
THE BAR
Most applications won't be accepted in Round 1. Here's exactly what we look for:
- A reel, plus two or three finished pieces. Finished work, not tests.
- Shot-to-shot consistency: characters, wardrobe and light that hold across a sequence.
- Intent you can see: framing, blocking and lighting that were chosen, not just generated.
- An edit that breathes: rhythm, sound and pacing that serve the story.
- Evidence of your hand: boards, behind-the-scenes, compositing, grading, voice direction. Show us how you work.
- Delivery: client work, deadlines hit, notes taken. It helps, but it isn't required.
WHY AIAM
There are plenty of places to post your work. There are very few people in AI video who have spent a career producing and directing professional film and television. That's the difference.
You're backed by a veteran filmmaker.
Most people offering to help AI filmmakers have never run a professional production. AIAM's founder has spent 30+ years producing and directing across film, television, live broadcast and live events, including a feature released in 457 theaters across North America. He knows what buyers, brands, networks and distributors check before they say yes, and he builds how you're presented around it.
Work with real budgets behind it.
Briefs on the Studio Desk start at $1,500, and buyers have to state their distribution plan and chain of title before a brief is accepted. Signed Artists see briefs in their lane 72 hours before anyone else.
We handle what makes big clients hesitate.
Serious clients don't hold back from AI work because of the talent. They hold back because of the risk. Every AIAM delivery carries a provenance packet, likeness and music clearances, and written usage terms. It's the same discipline that clears a film for release.
Commission only. No fees, ever.
Applying is free, and so is a Roster listing. There's no membership, retainer or course to buy. AIAM earns a commission only when you get paid for work: 30% on Roster engagements AIAM books, 20% for Signed Artists, and 15% for the first five Signed Artists for as long as they keep renewing.
Terms that respect you.
The Roster isn't exclusive, and either side can walk away at any time. Signed representation is exclusive only within your lane, and clients you already have stay yours, commission-free. On work AIAM books for you, you keep ownership and clients license it. On AIAM studio productions you're paid within 30 days of finishing, whether or not the client has paid, and you share 50/50 in any re-licensing profit.
Your name on the work.
We don’t sell prompts. We represent artists who can deliver™: directors, producers, creators and filmmakers whose own hand is on every frame. Artist Made AI, Not AI Made Art™.
FOUNDER
Sean Dinwoodie
FOUNDER, AI ARTISTS' MEDIA · PRODUCER & DIRECTOR · 30+ YEARS IN FILM & TELEVISION
Sean Dinwoodie is a veteran filmmaker: a producer and director with more than 30 years in film and television production. His work spans features, television, live broadcast, sports and large-scale live events. He has done almost every job on a set and worked his way up through the Los Angeles film and TV industry. Today he co-runs the production company Everlasting Entertainment.
Along the way he produced I'm in Love with a Church Girl, starring Ja Rule, Adrienne Bailon, Stephen Baldwin and Michael Madsen. High Top Releasing opened it in 457 theaters across North America before it played hundreds more around the world. He has run live event production for Tony Robbins and Brendon Burchard, and he has covered the Olympics. Getting work in front of an audience at that level takes more than good shots, whether it's on a theater screen, on air, or in an arena. It takes a schedule that holds, clean deliverables, cleared rights, and a chain of title that a distributor or network will stand behind.
He built AI Artists' Media because the tools caught up to the craft, and the business around them hadn't. Great AI work doesn't need a better prompt. It needs someone who knows how buyers, brands, networks and distributors make decisions, and who puts an artist's name, and a clean record of how the work was made, behind every delivery.

QUESTIONS ARTISTS ASK
Who's behind AIAM?
AI Artists' Media was founded by Sean Dinwoodie, a veteran producer and director with more than 30 years in film and television production, across features, television, live broadcast, sports and live events. He co-runs the production company Everlasting Entertainment. His credits include the theatrically released feature I'm in Love with a Church Girl, starring Ja Rule, Adrienne Bailon, Stephen Baldwin and Michael Madsen. High Top Releasing opened it in 457 theaters across North America before it played hundreds more around the world.
Why should I be represented by AIAM instead of finding clients myself?
You can, and plenty of artists do. What AIAM adds is what's hard to build alone: a founder with 30+ years producing and directing film and television, who knows what buyers, brands, networks and distributors check before they say yes; a Studio Desk where briefs start at $1,500; a provenance packet and clearances that take the risk out of hiring an AI artist; and a contract with no fees at any tier. The Roster isn't exclusive, so you lose nothing by being on it.
Do I need film-industry credits?
No. The work decides. Many of the strongest AI filmmakers came from design, editing, VFX, animation or music. Show us finished work and how you made it.
Does applying cost anything?
No, and nothing else does either. Applying is free, and a Roster listing is free. There is no membership, retainer, subscription or listing fee at any tier. AIAM is paid by commission on work it books, and nothing else.
Show us the work.
